eBay Fantastically made this Vintage Afghan Blanket is Handmade Crochet Knit and measures approximately 36″[3 feet] x 60″[5 feet]. Mid Century Modern Vintage Hand Made Afghan. Large afghan consists of a total of 216 granny squares. Vintage crochet granny squares throw afghan coverlet – handmade probably in the 1950’s judging from what appears to be a mohair wool blend yarn. Designed with skill in a fantastic multi color geometric arrangement on black background. The final row on each of the shorter sides appears to me to be added later and it is designed to create a slight ruffle effect on the ends. Excellent overall condition – gently used – soft and warm texture – no damage or flaws – just stunning! The warm and classic colors of Black with a variety of rainbow hues are perfect for any decor. This Afghan is completed with a beautiful solid black border. It is a nice heavy weight- perfect as a throw on a single bed or as an over sized lap blanket. Preowned, this blanket is in excellent pre-owned vintage condition. No holes, stains or damage of any kind that I find. Please review all pictures–you will receive exactly what is in the pictures. I take great care in packaging items for shipping but cannot be responsible for damage or loss during transport. If you want postal insurance- please let me know at end of auction and I will send a revised invoice through Ebay with the postal fee included. I recommend insurance but leave option up to the buyer. If you choose to not insure your item, do not write me expecting a refund of any kind if it is damaged by the postal service. NO EXCEPTIONS so consider the insurance option carefully. International buyers add $5.00 plus actual shipping costs for handling and paperwork required. I try to always offer the cheapest form of international shipping on auction site but will ship according to winner requests at end of auction with invoice adjustments made to cover the increased fees for faster shipping options at postal rates.
